Tel Aviv. Thousands of people again took to the streets in Israel against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and demonstrated in the capital Tel Aviv late on Saturday night. Slogans to save democracy are written on the flags that the protesters have waved during the protests . Protests are going on all over the country for the last 15 weeks.
In fact, on March 27, the country's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had banned the discussion on legal changes in Parliament, after which this protest has flared up again. The protesters showed and demonstrated flags with the slogan 'Let's save democracy'. At the same time, the journalist of AFP has also reported the tainting of smoke bombs and flares during the demonstrations.
Not only in Tel Aviv, but the fire of this demonstration also reached Haifa. At the same time, at the house of Home of Justice Minister Yariv Levin in Modin, protesters shouted slogans and showed flags. It is being told that even on Saturday, thousands of protesters protested on the streets. Even before this many times such demonstrations have been done against the government.
Nadav Tamir, a 61-year-old protester, told AFP he was fighting for his democracy because he had no other country. And Tel Aviv resident Karen Beron, 45, a psychiatrist by profession, said he didn't want to attend the demonstration but his sister told him they all had no other way out.
He said this is also true, he has no other option and he has to save his country. The protesters say that in the proposal going on in the Parliament, the powers of the Supreme Court of the country are being reduced and the right to choose the judges of the Supreme Court will come to the politicians.
At the same time, Netanyahu's government is debating in the parliament that this change is very important to bring harmony between the powers of the judiciary and the parliament.
