Jiah Khan Case: In the actress Jiah Khan death case, Mumbai's CBI Special Court has dishonorably acquitted actor Sooraj Pancholi due to lack of evidence. Suraj Pancholi was accused of abetting Jia Khan to commit suicide. Since 2019, the trial in this case was going on in the CBI court. Today the decision has come.
This decision was being awaited for the last 10 years. Earlier, the decision of the court was about to come soon but Jiah Khan's mother Rabya had asked for some time to submit some written things. Due to which the court had stayed its decision till 12:30 pm.
But now Suraj Pancholi has got relief in this matter. The CBI has completely acquitted him in the Jiah Khan suicide case. This is a happy occasion for Suraj and his family. At the same time, Jiah Khan's mother's hopes have been shattered. Jia's mother Rabya had come to Mumbai today itself for the verdict. But only disappointment is in their hands.
Today after 10 years the verdict has come on Jiah Khan case. Jia Khan's mother Rabia was waiting for this decision with great impatience. He wanted justice for his daughter. Jia Khan committed suicide on 3 June 2013. This step of his had shocked everyone. Jia was a rising star, she had achieved her considerable recognition only through 3 films. This big step of Jia's suicide had put Sooraj Pancholi in trouble.
Jia Khan had mentioned Suraj Pancholi a lot in his suicide note. She had told how she and Sooraj loved each other and later how the actor started behaving with her. It is also written in the suicide note that Suraj had once thrown him out of the house. She is unable to tolerate Suraj's changing attitude. Jiya's mother even had to say that her daughter had even got her abortion done on Sooraj's advice.
