According to tipster Abhishek Yadav, the non-movable variant of Air Fiber will have two units, the first router which will be connected via cable to the second unit which will be installed on the roof of your house. On the other hand, the second version of this device will be portable like smartphones and will offer Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, it will be available in black and white finish and it will not require a technician to setup.

How does Air Fiber work?

Instead of underground fiber optic cable, air fiber will provide internet connection using 5G antenna. Users will have to install Jio's 5G SIM card in the device so that the antenna can catch the signal and offer you high speed internet. Tipster also claims that Air Fiber will support Jio set top box as well.
