Apple is going to open its first official retail store in India. It is to be opened in Mumbai's Jio World Drive Mall, which is built in Bandra Kurla Complex. The company had recently shared pictures of what the new Apple Store would look like. It has now been confirmed that the Apple Store (Apple BKC) in Mumbai will open on April 18 at 11 am.
Apple's second retail store after Mumbai will open in Saket, Delhi. It will be started on April 20 at 10 am. Through these two retail stores, customers will now be able to see, experience as well as buy Apple products.

With this, the company has started sending invites to the customers through the wallpaper of both the stores. It is also believed that the company's CEO Tim Cook may come to India to start the Apple Store in India. Although the company has not confirmed this.
India's first Apple Store
The Apple Store built in Mumbai is spread over an area of about 22 thousand square feet. On the other hand, the Delhi Apple Store is smaller than this and is spread over 10,000 square feet.
Apple has entered into a special lease agreement with Jio Mall for the Mumbai retail store. Under this, other brands competing with Apple will not be able to lose their showrooms around this store. Also, other tech companies will not be able to do their marketing near Apple's first retail store. These brands include Dell, HP, Google, Microsoft, Twitter, Intel, Lenovo, IBM and Toshiba.
