Kiran Kumar Reddy Joins BJP: Former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Kiran Kumar Reddy resigned from Congress and joined BJP on Friday (April 7). During this, while targeting the Congress, he told why he left the party.
Kiran Kumar Reddy said, “I never thought that I would have to leave the Congress. There is a saying that my king is very wise, he never thinks for himself, nor does he listen to anyone's advice. You all must have come to know what I want to say.
He further said that the Congress party is not able to understand the opinion of the people. The party is neither analyzing what is the mistake nor do they want to correct it. They think that only I am right and everyone else including the people of the country is wrong. Because of this ideology, I decided to leave the party.
Reddy joined the BJP in the presence of Union minister Prahlad Joshi, BJP national general secretary Arun Singh and party's chief spokesperson Anil Baluni.
'Doesn't even talk'
Former chief minister Reddy said they (Congress leadership) believe they are right and everyone else, including the people of India, is wrong. They want authority to maintain control, but don't want to work hard or take on any responsibility. Citing his family's association with the Congress for more than six decades, he said that the Congress is suffering losses in all the states but its high command does not even interact with others or take their opinion.
