Supreme Court slams Lalit Modi: The Supreme Court on Thursday reprimanded former IPL commissioner Lalit Modi for his remarks against the judiciary . The apex court has asked Lalit Modi to tender an unconditional apology. A bench of Justices MR Shah and CT Ravikumar said that Lalit Modi is not above Indian law and constitution.
The Supreme Court directed Lalit Modi to apologize through social media platforms and leading news papers. The Supreme Court also directed Lalit Modi to file an affidavit before apologizing. The apex court said that in this affidavit, he should give an undertaking that he will not commit such a mistake in future. Will not post anything that tarnishes the image of Indian Judiciary.
