Nepal's Sandeep Lamichhane made world record, left behind Starc and Rashid Khan

Nepal's star cricketer Sandeep Lamichhane has once again come into limelight but this time the reason is very good. Sandeep has made a world record by leaving Rashid Khan behind. He completed the fastest 100 wickets in ODI cricket in the ACC Men's Premier Cup match against Oman. Sandeep touched the figure of 100 wickets in his 42nd ODI and now holds the world record for the fastest to 100 ODI wickets.

Before Lamichhane, this record was recorded in the name of Afghanistan's star leg-spinner Rashid Khan. Rashid made this record in March 2018 by taking 100 wickets in his 44th ODI match, but after five years his record has been broken and now this record has become in the name of Lamichhane. Australian fast bowler Mitchell Starc is at number three in terms of taking the fastest 100 wickets in ODI cricket.

Starc has taken 100 wickets in 52 ODIs. If we talk about this ACC Premier League, then in the seventh match of this league, Lamichhane took 3 wickets for 45 runs in 8 overs. Due to his brilliant bowling, Nepal's team defeated Oman by 84 runs. Let us tell you that Lamichhane was recently accused of raping a 17-year-old girl, after which he had been away from cricket, but after getting relief from the court, he is playing cricket again for Nepal. .

Lamichhane made his ODI debut for Nepal at the age of 17. Since then he did not look back. Since then he has participated in big leagues like IPL as well as Big Bash League. Although, his career was questioned after the rape allegations, but he has once again shown that he has moved forward by forgetting all these controversies with a bang.
