Peter Moore made a unique record in Test against Bangladesh, this happened for the third time in the 21st century

 

Wicket-keeper batsman Peter Moore got a chance in Ireland's playing XI in the one-off Test against Bangladesh at the Shere-Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka. With this, a special record was registered in his name. Moore has become the 17th player in the world to play Test cricket for two countries.

Please tell that Moore was earlier a part of the Zimbabwe cricket team. Moore played 8 Tests, 49 ODIs and 21 T20 Internationals for Zimbabwe, scoring 533, 827 and 364 runs respectively. He played the last international match for Zimbabwe in the year 2019. 

The special thing is that Moore played his last Test match for Zimbabwe in 2018 against Bangladesh at the Shere-Bangla National Stadium.

However, on his Test debut for Ireland, Moore 

Moore became the third player in the 21st century to play Test cricket for two countries. Prior to this, Boyd Rankin played for England and then for Ireland. Apart from this, Gary Ballance is playing Test cricket for England and now Zimbabwe.
