Air India is struggling with this problem

Incorrect fitting and installation of the 737 Max planes during the production of Boeing aircraft is delaying the production of the aircraft. The fuselage made by Spirit Aerosystems was wrongly fitted in the aircraft manufactured after the year 2019. Now it will take more time to correct these aircraft. This will delay production for further deliveries.

The company ordered so many planes

Air India has ordered 210 (A 320/321) Airbus and 40 (A 350) aircraft from Airbus. Boeing has ordered 190 737 Max (single aisle aircraft), 20 787 ie wide body aircraft and 10 (777-9) ie wide body aircraft. Please tell, in this order, the option of 50 Xtra and 737 Max and 20 787-9 aircraft has to be selected.

Boeing said this

On this whole issue, Boeing said that the process of retrofitting could affect the delivery of 737 Max in the coming days. This problem is being seen in both production and storage. That's why it will affect such a large number of 737 MAX jets. Boeing has talked to the FAA about this problem. Along with this, work is being done for inspection and replacement of fittings where necessary. At the same time, a veteran of US Aerospace has said in a statement that an update will be given on the delivery of Boeing aircraft in the next few weeks.
