This study has been published in the Journal of Experimental. Research has said that taking less than 7 hours of sleep reduces the activity of endothelial cells in the body. Due to the decrease in these, the expansion of the arteries of the heart starts decreasing, due to which there is a risk of attack. In the research, the sleeping pattern of those people who have heart disease was seen. It was found that 23 percent of patients with heart diseases were getting less than 6 hours of sleep. From this the researchers assessed the effect of lack of sleep on the body.
8 hours of sleep required
According to cardiologist Dr. Ajit Jain , the body clock gets disturbed due to lack of sleep, which can lead to the problem of high BP. Increase in BP can directly cause heart disease. Lack of sleep causes more problems, like a person feels low energy throughout the day. He keeps on yawning all day long. Obesity also increases due to lack of sleep. There is also a risk of increasing cholesterol due to this. In such a situation, at least 8 hours of sleep is very important for good heart health. Apart from this, it is also important to have a healthy diet. Avoid consumption of junk food and high fat food.
