Under this scheme, from the business setup to the construction process of those companies, funds will be provided under PLI. Actually India has become the second largest smartphone manufacturer in the whole world. Now if parts of smartphones and laptops start being made in India, then it can prove to be a big blow for China.

17000 crore will be spent like this

The government is encouraging production links to sectors so that India can become self-sufficient in those sectors. In which we still have to rely on some other country. Now the announcement of 17000 crores made for IT hardware sector will be used in several phases. This amount can be spent in 6 years.
