McLaren Artura: Platform
The Artura is the first car to use McLaren's MCLA – McLaren Carbon Lightweight Architecture platform. The new platform comes with a flexible design and has already been optimized for the hybrid powertrain with a bespoke battery compartment and dedicated wiring.
McLaren Artura Design
The car follows a mid-engined supercar layout and gets McLaren's boomerang design at the front, which integrates slim LED headlamps and large air intakes.
The sides get large air scoops that offer airflow to the rear wheels and the engine. The rear part is inspired by the McLaren family with a mesh grille for the engine bay and twin circular exhaust tips.

The McLaren Artura uses a 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 mated to an eight-speed transmission. It is connected to a rear-axle mounted electric motor that generates 95bhp and 225Nm of torque, mated to a 585bhp V6 i.e. 680bhp and 720Nm of torque in the Artura. The car can do 0 to 100 km in just 2.9 seconds Can start at a speed of 330 kmph and can reach a top speed of 330 kmph.
