Amira Shah graduated in finance from the University of Texas, USA. After returning to India after studying, he decided to make his father's lab business a big brand. At present, Metropolis is a listed company in the stock market. The company achieved this feat in the year 2019. He initially invested Rs 2.5 crore in Metropolis along with his father to expand the lab. Initially, he worked in his own company on a monthly salary of Rs 15,000 whereas today the valuation of this company has reached Rs 9,000 crore.

Amira Shah had told in an interview that in the year 2005, she took funds for the expansion of the business. After this, in the year 2015, taking a big risk, he took a huge loan of Rs 600 crore. He believes that the new businessman should take special care that he should take as much loan as he needs to expand or start the business. Talking about her success, she says that if your model is good then investors will show interest in your product.
What was the challenge before Amira?
The biggest challenge before Amira Shah was how to gain the trust of the people. For this, he focused on a better relationship between the doctor and the patient to gain the trust of the customers. For this, Amira focused on Empathy, Integrity and Accuracy between the two. He had a strong medical team, but he was lagging behind in sales and marketing. He built a strong team by working on this weakness. After this his business took a tremendous leap.
