Technology is changing rapidly and this can be gauged from the fact that earlier the budget was prepared on paper, but many major changes were seen in the rule of the Modi government and the budget became paperless as soon as it was seen. PM Modi is going to inaugurate the new Parliament on 28 May 2023 and this is going to be the first time under the Digital India campaign of the Modi government that the Parliament will also be completely paperless. Along with this, which technology has been used in the new building of the Parliament? Let's know.

After the paperless budget, the Parliament is also going to become paperless, it clearly means that the Modi government focuses a lot on technology. Thousands of papers are used daily for the day-to-day proceedings in the Parliament, but now the Parliament is also going to be high-tech under the rule of the Modi government. This means documents written on paper will be prepared in the form of soft copies which can be easily accessed by the legislators.

This technology was used in the new building of Parliament

Facility of biometric voting will be available: With the help of this technology, MPs will be able to vote quickly and easily by scanning only their fingerprints.

Programmable microphone will be supported: With the help of these microphones, MPs will be able to control their volume and direction of the microphone. Also, this technology will ensure that the sound reaches every person sitting in the chamber clearly.

Digital Language Interpretation: Even if the speech is being given in any language, but with the help of this technology MPs will be able to listen to the speech in their own language.

Virtual Sound: This technology will be used to create an immersive sound environment in the chamber, so that MPs will be able to follow the debate easily.

Digital Voting and Attendance: A digital system has been installed for the process of Parliament so that things like voting and attendance can be done easily. MPs will be able to use electronic devices or touchscreens to vote or mark their attendance. With the advent of this technology, the need for manual counting will be eliminated and this will help in reducing the chances of mistakes.

Video Conferencing and Remote Participation: The facility of advanced video conferencing has been included in the new building of Parliament. With the advent of this technology, MPs will be able to participate in the sessions and committee meetings even if they are sitting far away.

Advanced Security System: For the security of Parliament, the government has also included advanced security systems which include biometric authentication system for access control and face recognition technology for identification of persons.

Modi government's focus is on technology

Modi government's long term of 9 years is about to be completed and during this journey the central government has focused a lot on apps. For the convenience of the general public, the government launched apps like BHIM UPI for money transactions, UMANG App for government services and Union Budget for paperless budget.

Parliament documents will be more secure than before

Till now every information in the Parliament was available only through paper, but with the advent of paperless Parliament, one advantage will be that the information given on these documents will be more secure through soft copy. Like the paperless budget, every document of Parliament will also be available in PDF format through the app.

A decision of paperless parliament will have these three advantages

What will be the benefits of paperless parliament under the rule of Modi government? The first advantage of this step of the government is the saving of thousands of papers, the second advantage is environmental protection and the third advantage is the saving of money by reducing the use of paper.

Will tablets be given to MLAs?

Like the budget, the new parliament will also be made completely paperless, so it means that the legislators will be given tablets by the government to access the documents of the parliament.
