Man has always been showing interest in space and the presence of life on a planet other than Earth. We take great interest in knowing the question whether there exists anyone other than us in the universe . This is the reason why space agencies around the world keep sending space missions to other planets. The purpose of these missions is to find out some questions, such as whether life exists on any other planet? What should we do if aliens contact us?
Keeping these things in mind, the European Space Agency (ESA) is preparing to respond to the messages or signals coming from the aliens. Under this, ESA sent a 'mock' signal from Mars to Earth through its ExoMars Trace Gas Orbiter. This secret message was sent on May 24 at 9 pm from the Red Planet to Earth. Actually, to answer the questions of aliens, the space agency is running a project called A Sign in Space.
Daniela de Polis, who created the project, says that looking at our history shows that humanity seeks answers in powerful and transformative events. If we get any message from the outside world, then it will be a very interesting experience for the entire humanity. Under the A Sign in Space project itself, preparations are being made to respond to aliens' messages in the future.
What is the purpose of sending the message?
Actually, the European Space Agency's spacecraft has been circling the Red Planet since October 2016. He is engaged in finding evidence of biological or geological activities on Mars. ESA said on its website that the message was first sent to the spacecraft agency's Mission Control Center in Darmstadt, Germany on May 10. It was stored in memory and then converted into data and sent back to Earth.
ESA further told that the public and experts of all countries have been asked to decode the message and tell what is written in it. The space agency is already aware of the things written in the message. But this information has been kept hidden. The agency has asked those who cracked the messages to submit their answers to the ESA. Actually, its purpose is that when the aliens really send a message, then the people of the world can decode it.
