The risk of brain hemorrhage is less in people who do regular exercise, research claims

Brain Haemorrhage:
Exercising or working out regularly is beneficial for our body. But according to a recent research, it also reduces the risk of brain hemorrhage.

Brain Haemorrhage: By doing exercise or workout, our body remains fit and fine. This increases the stamina of our body, due to which our body is able to work for a long time. But a study by the University of Gothenburg has revealed that regular physical activity reduces the risk of brain hemorrhage.

Researchers have emphasized the importance of physical activity in protecting the brain. According to research published in the journal Stroke and Vascular Neurology, data were analyzed on 686 people who went to the University of Gothenburg for treatment of intracerebral bleeding from 2014 to 2019.

What were the results of the research

According to this research, the risk of hemorrhage was found to be less in people who were physically active on a regular basis. Being physically active includes physical activity such as walking, cycling, swimming, gardening or dancing. According to research, such light physical activity must be done for about 4 hours in a week.

Researchers opinion

According to the researchers, on average, bleeding at the time of reaching the hospital was up to 50 percent less in people who did regular physical activity. A similar connection has been seen earlier in animal studies, but before that no study had come to the fore, in which humans have been told about it. According to the researchers, people with intracerebral bleeding are treated with a CT scan in the hospital and may require neurosurgery depending on the severity of the bleeding.

However, in most cases non-surgical methods and medicines are used to promote recovery. Intracerebral bleeding is the most dangerous type of stroke and there is a fear of death. Researcher and associate professor of neurosurgery at the University of Gothenburg, Adam Viktorissen, says that in cases of intracerebral bleeding there is a risk of increased pressure in the skull, which can potentially cause fatal consequences.
