WHO on Pandemic: Not only Corona, these 6 diseases will also take the form of epidemic! WHO warned

WHO on Pandemic: In view of the next epidemic, WHO has identified some infectious diseases, which can cause the next epidemic. If measures are not taken to prevent the spread of these diseases, the consequences can prove to be very fatal.

WHO on Pandemic: Corona virus epidemic wreaked havoc in all the countries of the world and put millions of people to sleep. This epidemic is not over yet. Even now people are falling prey to it. Amidst all this, the new warning issued by the World Health Organization (WHO) is more frightening. WHO has said that the world should be prepared for the next pandemic. The great thing is that the WHO has said that this epidemic will prove to be more deadly than the corona virus.

The WHO recently announced that the corona pandemic is no longer a health emergency. Although it is not over yet. In a meeting of the World Health Assembly in Switzerland, WHO Director Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said that we should be prepared for future pandemics and other threats. Tedros said there is a danger of another variant emerging, which could cause a new surge of disease and death.

Can't ignore the upcoming epidemic - WHO

Tedros told WHO member countries that we cannot ignore the upcoming epidemic. If we don't make the changes that need to be made now, then who will? When the next pandemic strikes, we must be ready to respond decisively, collectively and equitably. So that the world never again has to face the devastation of an epidemic like Corona.

Explain that in view of the next epidemic, WHO has identified some infectious diseases, which can cause the next epidemic. If measures are not taken to prevent the spread of these diseases, the consequences can prove to be very fatal.

What are those diseases, which can take the form of epidemic

Ebola- This virus spread from animals to humans. It can spread through direct contact with infected blood, sweat, saliva and faeces. Even after the death of the person caught by this virus, there is a fear of spreading the infection.

Marburg - It is as dangerous as the Ebola virus. In February this year, 9 people died due to its grip in the small West African country. There is high fever and bleeding starts inside and outside the body.

Middle East Respiratory Syndrome – It was first identified in Saudi Arabia in the year 2012. It is similar to the corona virus. Its main symptoms are fever, cough, difficulty in breathing.

Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome- It was first discovered in February 2003 in Asia. This disease has shown its outbreak in North America, South America, Europe and Asia. Fever and dry cough are its most common symptoms. It also causes high fever and body pain.

Corona virus- Corona virus knocked in the year 2020. Its symptoms are fever, headache, loss of smell, runny nose, sore throat and difficulty in breathing. So far, about 7 million people have died worldwide due to the Corona epidemic.

Zika - Zika virus disease is mainly spread by Aedes mosquitoes, which bite during the day. There is no vaccine or medicine for Zika yet. Its symptoms are fever, rash, headache and lacrimation.

WHO has told that there is a WHO code for the disease caused by disease X germs, which has not even been discovered yet. Pranab Chatterjee, a researcher in the Department of International Health at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in Baltimore, has told that it is not an exaggeration to say that there is a possibility of disease X in the world.

There is also a possibility of the next epidemic being zoonotic.

Health experts also agree that the next pandemic is also likely to be zoonotic. That is, a disease that occurs in animals before infecting humans. The great thing is that the most recent pandemics - Ebola, HIV/AIDS and Corona have been zoonotic in origin.
