Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has successfully launched GSLV-F12 and NVS-01 missions today. This mission is carrying a navigation satellite NVS-01 into space with the Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle (GSLV) . Now you must be thinking that how will the services of companies like Zomato-Swiggy and Ola-Uber become cheaper with the mission of ISRO? Explain that under this mission, India will get its own navigation system NavIC. Through this you can get cheap food and cabs. Let us know how all this will happen.
In the mission launched by ISRO today, the navigation satellite NVS-01 has been sent into space from GSLV. India will get its own navigation system from this satellite, which is called Navigation with Indian Constellation (NavIC). The focus of NVS-01 will be on the whole part of the country and better map service will be available than GPS.
Everything is done by GPS
As you know GPS is used for food delivery and cab ride. GPS is a map navigation system that helps people to travel through maps. Currently, companies like Zomato-Swiggy and Ola-Uber find GPS navigation systems expensive. That's why their service is also a bit expensive.

Services will be cheaper like this
However, after the introduction of NavIC navigation system, these companies can get cheap map service. This will directly affect the cost of the company. That means the cost of online food delivery and cab companies will come down. After this, these companies can cut their service charge. People are expected to get such cheap service after the arrival of Navik.
NavIC at a glance
NavIC is a regional navigation satellite system developed by ISRO. The new navigation system will provide service in two ways. Firstly, common people will be able to use it, while secondly, strategic users like army will take benefit of this service.
Till now we are dependent on American satellite, but now we will get our own navigation system. It will be better than GPS and will give more accurate location information. NavIC will cover the whole of India and an area up to 1,500 km from the country's border.
