With this, he said that there is no threat to jobs from AI for the next few years, although this may happen after the next 5 to 7 years.

Government will protect digital citizens

IT Minister Rajeev Shekhar says that the intention of the government is clear regarding AI or any other regulation. We will regulate this technology from the point of view of 'not harming the users'. This is a new ideology, which is continuing since 2014. In this, our entire emphasis has been on protecting the interests of our digital citizens.

He said that the government will not allow any platform that harms digital citizens in the country. If AI companies have to work here, they have to reduce the harm caused to the users.

Referring to the visit of OpenAI founder and CEO Sam Altman to India, Rajeev Chandrasekhar said that his coming here shows India's ability to work on emerging technologies.

Sam Altman also met Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his visit to India. At the same time, the answer to one of his challenges was given by Tech Mahindra CEO C.P. Gurnani has given.
