Ariha Shah Case: Till when the return of innocent Ariha Shah from Germany, the parents pleaded with the Modi government

An innocent child of about two and a half years old belonging to an Indian family in Germany is away from her parents for almost 20 months. The girl has been kept in the child care center of Berlin. The girl's parents have appealed for help from the German government to the Indian government.

If you are going to Germany with children, then you must be aware of the Child Care in Germany rules there. In India, there is a different definition of affection and motherhood, but in some countries of the world, there are different rules for the care of children. India's innocent Ariha Shah has been away from her parents since she was only seven months old. However, according to the statement given by the German Foreign Ministry, there is hope of handing over Ariha Shah soon.

A campaign has started in the country to bring Ariha to her parents. In which leaders of all political parties are included. 59 MPs from 19 political parties have written a joint letter to German Ambassador Philipp Ackermann in Delhi. In which a request has been made to hand over Ariha Shah to her parents as soon as possible.

Which MPs wrote letters

Congress MPs Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, Shashi Tharoor, BJP's Hema Malini and Maneka Gandhi, DMK's Kanimozhi, NCP's Supriya Sule, TMC's Mahua Moitra, SP's Ram Gopal Yadav, RJD's Manoj Jha, You are Sanjay Singh. Apart from these, leaders of CPM, Akali Dal, BSP, Shiv Sena, CPI and National Conference are also involved in this campaign.

The whole matter is in the cognizance of the Union Ministry of External Affairs. And continuous efforts are being made to bring the girl back home. Foreign Ministry spokesman Arindam Bagchi has said that the matter is very sensitive. This has become a matter between two countries. All possible efforts are being made to hand over Ariha Shah to her parents.

Parents appealed to the Government of India

On getting disappointment from all sides in the whole matter, Ariha's parents have now appealed to the Government of India for help. Bhavesh and Dhara are residents of Ahmedabad. She also sought permission from the Child Care Administration in Berlin to allow the parents to stay in foster care to take care of the girl but was rejected.

Why was Ariha separated from her parents?

Ariha's parents Bhavesh Shah and Dhara Shah moved to Berlin in 2018 itself. Ariha was born in 2021 in the capital of Germany. Dhara then told the media that Ariha's grandmother had come to Berlin to see her granddaughter, during which unfortunately the girl got hurt. And blood started coming out of the diaper. After which he was taken to the hospital. Where the officials told the matter of harassment.

The hospital administration immediately called Child Care, after which the girl is in the foster care of Jugendmat, Germany's child welfare agency. The hospital administration and child care made a serious allegation of misbehaving with the girl child on the parents. Although later the police report did not reveal any kind of abuse, but the girl is still kept under the Jugendmat.

What is Jugendmat's law?

The Jugendmatt is the German agency for the welfare of children and adolescents. It is operated through both Germany and Austria. This agency has been active in Germany since 1922. The special thing is that this organization works independently, so there is no direct interference of the government on it.
