Admission in BHU PhD through CUET
To get admission in PhD in Banaras Hindu University, CUET will now have to be given instead of Research Entrance Test i.e. RET. Only those students who pass this exam will be called for further process. Its proposal has been placed before the Vice Chancellor of BHU.
PhD Admission through CUET in DU
Admission to PhD course in Delhi University, which is included in the top universities of the country, will also be done through CUET exam. At present, the registration process for admission in UG course has started from DU side. For the current academic year 2023 in Delhi University, examinations of 51 programs will also be done through Common University Entrance Test (CUET). Interested candidates have to register by paying Rs 700 as application fee.
Admission through CUET in Ambedkar University PhD
Ambedkar University will offer PhD admission through CUET score from this academic year 2023. A total of 250 seats are available for 19 PhD programs through admission. To take admission in this, go to the official website aud.ac.in and check the notification.
As per the new UGC rules, the process of admission to Ph.D. has changed. One who has completed four years UG degree program in any discipline with minimum 75 percent marks or its equivalent grade is eligible for Ph.D. programme.
