RBSE Rajasthan Board: After passing 10th, students will no longer be confused in choosing the stream. For this, a new initiative 'Dial Future' is being started in government schools of Rajasthan. The program will start from next week in all government schools of the state. Through this program, the education department is preparing to conduct career counseling of students in all senior secondary schools.
One teacher from all the senior secondary schools in the districts will do the counseling after attending the program based on the modules prepared by the experts. The program will be formally launched on June 27 with the participation of district institutes of education and training.
According to media reports, state education secretary Naveen Jain told that this initiative will help students to choose stream keeping in mind their interest, ability and attitude instead of going for traditional options based on their marks in secondary examination. . He said that through this program the students have to move forward in the right career direction.
The Rajasthan State Council of Educational Research and Training has completed the tasks of selection of teachers, creation of modules, establishment of a State Resource Group and establishment of help desks in four regions of the state. Each help desk will be manned by a team of five experienced teachers.
Jain said that after 'Dial Future', the progress of the students in the selected subject stream will be reviewed by the student. If there is a need, further counseling will be done for the students.
