At the same time, it is also making a big dent in the revenue that the government gets from alcohol, because this type of alcohol is not very expensive and people are using it as an alternative to alcohol or drugs.

Alcohol limit will be controlled, public will be benefited

Now the Drugs Consultative Committee working under the Central Drugs Standard and Control Organization (CDSCO), the regulator of drugs, is considering it. There are many technical experts in this committee who will take a quick decision to control the amount of alcohol in medicines.

According to media reports, the regulatory body is planning to amend the provisions and rules of the Drugs and Cosmetics Act on the basis of a complaint received from the UP government. So that the misuse of alcohol and tincture can be prevented.

Recently, there have been many such reports from Agra and surrounding areas where aromatic cardamom tincture and other alcoholics were being sold illegally as country liquor. The Uttar Pradesh Police has taken strict action in this regard and raided many places and seized the tincture. After controlling the content of alcohol, its illegal sale can be stopped.
