Ratan Tata liked Arjun Deshpande's idea

When Arjun Deshpande was 16 years old, he deeply researched why medicines are sold so expensive at medical stores? After this, in the year 2019, he started Generic Aadhaar. He started it from a store. Gradually, his startup started expanding rapidly in the cities and made a mark in the market in a short span of time.

When famous businessman Ratan Tata came to know about Arjun Deshpande's unique idea, he was impressed by him. Ratan Tata then invested in his startup. After this, Generic Aadhaar took a longer flight and spread its business rapidly. Today his startup has turned into a company and its valuation is Rs 500 crore.

Generic base has 2000 stores in the country

Generic Aadhaar currently has more than 2000 stores across the country. 10,000 employees work in these stores. Through generic base, not only thousands of people are getting medicines at low cost, but they are also providing employment to many people. Arjun Deshpande is now expanding his company not only in the country but also abroad.

At present, he is expanding his company in countries like Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, United Arab Emirates and Myanmar. Arjun told about his future plans in an interview. He said that he is also planning to open his stores in countries like Dubai, Oman, Cambodia and Vietnam.
