Indian students protest in Toronto, Canadian government bans the order of deportation of 700 students

The Canadian government has stayed the deportation order of Indian students. 700 students are facing trouble due to fake documents. After the intervention of AAP's Rajya Sabha MP and the Indian High Commission, the students got relief.

Giving relief to the students protesting in Canada, the deportation has been stopped by the administration there. After registering a case against Indian student Lovepreet Singh, orders were issued to deport him. After this the anger of the students erupted and the students took to the streets. In the case of fake documents, many students are badly trapped in Canada. Most of the affected students were duped by Brijesh Mishra, an agent of a Jalandhar based consulting agency.

The government there has given relief to the Indian students protesting in Canada. The Canadian authorities had ordered the deportation of Lovepreet Singh. On June 5, protests started here. Lovepreet Singh lives in Chatmala village of Punjab. The Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA) ordered the student to leave the country by June 13. The officials found in the investigation that the offer letter on the basis of which he had come to Canada on study permit six years ago was fake. Singh was among the 700 students who were ordered to be deported by the Canadian authorities for having forged documents.

Canadian government banned

AAP's Rajya Sabha MP Vikramjit Sahni said that the Canadian government has stayed the decision to deport 700 students. Sahni is the International President of World Punjab Organization. The Canadian government changed its decision after his request and the intervention of the Indian High Commission. Sahni said that we told the Canadian government that the students had not committed any forgery. He himself has been a victim of fraud. Fake agents gave them fake letters and pay slips.

The women of Punjab were stuck in the Gulf country

A large number of students from India go to Canada. Especially more youths from Punjab go to Canada on study visa. There the agents often do such forgery and the students have to bear the brunt. A few days ago, another such case had come to the fore where many women from Punjab were stuck in the Gulf country. The agent had also committed fraud with him.
