Intel India Chief Nivrutti Rai has resigned from the company after 29 years. Nivrutti Rai was the head and vice president of Intel Foundry Services in India. The company said in a statement that Nivrutti Rai, head of Intel India, has resigned from the company after 29 years. Nivrutti Rai had been working at Intel since February 1994 as a Design Engineer.
Intel India Country Head and Intel Foundry Services Vice President Nivrutti Rai is leaving the company after 29 years. Intel said in a statement that the tremendous progress Intel India has made under the leadership of Nivruti.
Rai, who started with Intel as a design engineer, worked with the company in the US from 1994 to 2005. In September 2005, she moved to Bangalore as Senior Director of Chipset Engineering and Intellectual Property Development in the group.
In 2022, Rai was awarded the Nari Shakti Puraskar for her extraordinary contribution to women empowerment. Outside the US, India is Intel's largest engineering center. She will soon share more details about the leadership plans for Intel India. This is the second time Intel has lost its leadership in the last few months. In November last year, Randhir Thakur, president of the company's foundry services, left the company.
