Japan Alcohol Issue: 'Jam' overflowing in the world, but why are people not touching it in Japan? Government in tension

The number of youth who drink alcohol in the world is in crores. But this is not the case in Japan, rather alcohol is not popular among the youth. That's why the government is very worried.

'Nothing left to say, everything is done, let's drink alcohol somewhere, it's night', when Nida Fazli would have written this lion. Then perhaps he would be unaware of the importance of this lion for a country in today's world. Actually, Nida Fazli is talking about drinking alcohol in her lion and Japan is also doing the same thing. There is hardly any country in the world where alcohol is not consumed, but something different is going on in Japan . The number of youth drinking alcohol here is less.

In Japan, the younger generation does not like spilling jam. Where the previous generations drank a lot of alcohol, but the new generation is not enjoying doing so. Its effect is being seen in the economy. Rice wine has been very popular in Japan. But the youth have said no to alcohol and because of this the government's income from Sake (rice wine) has decreased. The National Tax Agency has also become very upset due to this happening.

Why are the youth not drinking alcohol?

Actually, the coronavirus epidemic has shown the world that if you want to live a long life, then you have to improve your habits. Since the pandemic, people have started paying attention to their health. Apart from this, the number of young population in Japan is also less, which is very much concerned about their health. Because of this, he has distanced himself from alcohol. He feels that drinking alcohol will spoil his health, so it is better not to drink it at all.

Now let's talk about another factor, due to which there has been a decline in the number of alcohol drinkers. The population of old people in Japan is very high. The aging population is also one of the reasons for the falling liquor sales. According to the World Bank, one-third of the country's population i.e. 29 percent people are 65 years or more. These people take great care of their health and stay away from alcohol.

What's going on for drinking?

These days the Tax Authority of Japan is organizing Sake Viva competition. Great slogans have to be written for this competition, so that alcohol is made popular again among the people of 20 to 39 years. The basic purpose of the competition is to promote alcoholic products like Sake, Shochu, Awamori, Beer among the people. If liquor becomes popular, it will also give a push to Japan's economy.
