Get package up to 80 lakhs
Cyber security professionals are also getting excellent salary package in the market. In the report of TeamLease itself, it has been said that at the level of Vice President-Information Security or Chief Information Security Officer, people are offered a package ranging from Rs 50 lakh to Rs 80 lakh. At the same time, people are getting a package of up to Rs 30 lakh for IT auditor with 12 years of experience.
Freshers are also offered a salary of Rs 6 to 10 lakh in this field. This experience starts increasing with increasing. For example, up to 15 lakhs for those with 3 to 5 years of experience, and up to 40 lakhs for those with 5 to 8 years of experience.
Further growth is expected
Cyber security sector is growing rapidly. The reason for this is the ever increasing cyber attacks. In the first quarter of the year 2023, Indian organizations have faced more than 2000 cyber attacks every week, which is 18 percent more than the same period last year.
In such a situation, the cyber security market is expected to grow further. By 2027, this market can grow at the rate of 8.05 percent year on year to $ 3.5 billion.
