Heavy loss in mushroom cultivation

At that time, the license of Farmers Production Organization (FPO) was required for mushroom cultivation. Keeping this in mind, he also included Tomato Ketchup and Tutti Frutti in the business. But he had to bear huge losses in this venture. Things got so bad that he had to sell the house and close this business within a few years.

Success with kokum syrup

In 1995, Lalita and Sanjay decided to make kokum sherbet and named their company Kokanraj. It took four years for his business to turn profitable. After selling all his property, he invested only Rs 500 in Kokum's business. Talking about kokum syrup, it has many benefits. It is believed to provide instant relief to people suffering from digestive problems. Apart from this, it is also a powerhouse of nutrients and minerals like Vitamin C, B3, A. Apart from this, it contains calcium, folic acid and acetic acid in abundance.

Didn't get benefit for three years?

Lalita Khaire's business is of no use for three years. She and her husband decided to run it for a few more years. At present, they make about 12 tonnes of kokum syrup in a day. Kokum sherbet is made every day by 40 women. In her company, the work of making sherbet goes on only for four months, the rest of the time the women spend time with their families and Lalita works to sell it.
