Material

1 cup chana dal

1 cup urad dal

1 cup rajma dal

salt to taste

1 tsp turmeric powder

1/2 cup ghee

two bay leaves

two black cardamoms

four to five long

three red chilies

1 teaspoon cumin

1 cup finely chopped onion

1 teaspoon green chili

1 tsp garam masala

1 tsp red chili powder

1 cup finely chopped tomatoes

pinch of kasoori methi

1 cup cream

Coriander to garnish

How to make Dal Maharani

First of all, wash all the three lentils and put them in the pressure cooker.

Add salt, turmeric and water to it and cook till 5 to 6 whistles come.

When the dal is cooked, open the cooker and let it cool down.

Now put ghee in a pan, put cumin seeds and dry spices like cardamom, clove, dry red chili, bay leaves and let it crackle.

After this add onion to it and fry till it becomes golden.

Add green chilies, garam masala powder, red chili powder, kasoori methi and tomatoes to it and fry well.

Fry the tomatoes until the tomatoes become soft.

For this you cook it for 5 to 7 minutes.

When the tomatoes become soft, add lentils to the pan and cook for 8 to 10 minutes.

Now put green coriander and cream on top and decorate it.

Your Daal Maharani is ready, you can eat it with roti, naan or paratha.
