In fact, when Egyptian President Abdel Fatah el-Sisi came as the chief guest at the Republic Day celebrations in January this year, an agreement was reached between the two leaders to strengthen Egypt-India relations. India wants its strong presence in Arab countries, while it also has huge investments around the Suez Canal. Egypt's cooperation is necessary in both these works.
PM Modi will visit Cairo on June 24-25
People having information about this visit say that PM Modi will be in Egypt's capital Cairo on 24 and 25 June. There will be a discussion on increasing cooperation between the two countries to prevent terrorism. There will also be talks for the defense industry, security and energy sectors. Anyway, there has been strength in the defense sector between the two countries in the last two years. India and Egypt have also done military exercises together.
The condition of agriculture sector will change
This visit of PM Modi to Egypt is considered important for agriculture. India's wheat exports have increased after the Russo-Ukraine war and Egypt is one of the major buyers of wheat. In such a situation, it is expected that an agreement can be reached between the two leaders on increasing the export of Indian agricultural commodities in Egypt.
Apart from this, India-Egypt can also sign an agricultural agreement. In this agreement, the maximum emphasis will be on sharing the methods of farming. Both the countries will share the best activities to be adopted in the agriculture sector. Both India and Egypt will get the benefit of this. It will help in modernizing agriculture.
