India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to America is going to be important in many respects. Where on one hand there is a possibility of promoting Indo-US technology partnership. There is a possibility of an important announcement especially for the creation of a new semiconductor supply chain. Also scheduled are meetings with CEOs of top 20 American companies such as Mastercard, Accenture, Coca-Cola, Adobe Systems and Visa. It is being said that this visit is enough to break the records of all business happening between America and India.
US National Security Advisor Jack Sullivan, who was in India on a two-day visit last week, fueled hopes of a breakthrough on bilateral cooperation in the semiconductor sector, saying much better results could be seen in the coming weeks. Partnership in the semiconductor sector is one of the main goals of the US-India Initiative on Critical and Emerging Technologies (ICET).
MoU has been signed between the two countries in March
PM Modi's US visit is expected to increase cooperation between private industry and scientific institutions in artificial intelligence and quantum computing, advanced materials, defense, semiconductor, next gen telecommunications, biotech and space. Many MoUs were signed between America and India to increase private sector cooperation in semiconductor. Under these MoUs, both the countries have to develop the ecosystem along with facilitating business opportunities.

The PM's discussions with business leaders during June 21-24 are likely to focus on exploring opportunities for cooperation between India and the US, attracting investments and enhancing trade ties. According to experts on India-US trade relations, the meetings will underline the importance of India as an important market for American business.
