Price Hike: Not only tomatoes, these food items have also become expensive, know how much the price has increased

If we talk about spices, then there has been a jump in the price of cumin. The rate of cumin has reached Rs 62350 per quintal in Nagaur, Rajasthan.

The effect of rain is now visible on the price of vegetables. Within the last one week, many green vegetables including tomatoes have become costlier. Apart from this, pulses have also become expensive. Now Arhar Dal has disappeared from the diet of the poor. The condition of inflation is that the prices of Arhar Dal have reached the seventh sky.

Due to hoarding, a jump of Rs 40 has been registered in the price of Arhar Dal in the last few days. Now now the price of one kg of Arhar Dal has gone up from 160 to 170 rupees. Due to this the people of Delhi are distressed.

Tomato has become the costliest among vegetables. In the retail market, the price of one kg of tomato has increased from Rs 80 to Rs 120, which was being sold at Rs 20 to 30 a kg till a few days back. Something similar has happened with cucumber as well.

The cucumber which was earlier Rs 20 to 30 per kg in the market, now its price has become Rs 40. Similarly, a jump of Rs 10 has been recorded in the price of okra. Now okra is being sold at Rs 40 per kg. A week ago its price was Rs 30 per kg.

If we talk about spices, then there has been a jump in the price of cumin. Cumin has reached Rs 62350 per quintal in Nagaur, Rajasthan. Similarly, garlic has also become expensive. It is being sold in the retail market for Rs 100 to 120 per kg. While there has been a jump in the wholesale price as well.

Chakki flour is being sold in Delhi at Rs 30 per kg, which is much higher than last year. However, a few months ago, flour in Delhi had become Rs 35 to 40 per kg. After this, the central government itself sold lakhs of tonnes of wheat in the market, after which the prices improved.
