With this pre-paid Rupay card, people will be able to make payments abroad easily. Along with this, there will be permission to use RuPay debit, credit and prepaid cards abroad.

According to this, the Payment Vision Document 2025 had already done complete planning to take UPI and Rupay card to the global level.
