Singapore: Indian chef molested 2 minors, court sent behind bars

The District Judge, while sentencing, said that the accused Kumar targeted the victim who was weak. He committed the crime in a public place. He hurt the dignity of the two victims. He could have been sentenced to up to two years in jail.

Singapore News: A shocking case has emerged from Singapore. Here an Indian chef has been put behind bars on charges of molesting two minor girls. The court found him guilty in both these cases and sentenced him to three months in one case and four weeks in the other case. The name of this Indian chef is Sushil Kumar . His age is 44 years.

According to media reports, during the court hearing, it was revealed that on July 2 last year, this chef had molested the minor. At that time the age of the minor was 14 years. She was on her way home from Boon Keng train station. During this Kumar forcefully stopped him and asked him to talk. According to the report, Sushil Kumar molested a minor for the first time in broad daylight near a metro train station.

Two minors were targeted in 3 months

After three months, he targeted another minor girl. He touched this too without consent. On both the occasions, he kissed, touched and hugged the minors. Giving information about the case, the police told that Kumar kissed the girl on the cheek. After this he asked for her (girl) mobile phone number and saved it.

Touched, kissed repeatedly on the cheek

After this he hugged the girl again and kissed her on the cheek. Later, he took several selfies with the girl with his mobile phone. Kumar also asked the minor to have food but the girl refused saying that she had to go home. After this he again hugged the girl and kissed her. He also asked the minor to give money if needed.

Was arrested last year

Kumar was arrested on November 8 last year following a complaint by family members, but was again released on bail. After this he started doing the same thing again. District Judge Paul Chan, while sentencing, said that Kumar was not remorseful for his actions.
