At present, there are 28 states in the country which are providing electricity bill subsidy. The Gehlot government of Rajasthan has also announced. Which state government has given how much subsidy

1. The Madhya Pradesh government has given electricity subsidy of Rs 21,418 crore to the common people in the financial year 2021-22. In the MP Budget 2022, the subsidy was increased to more than Rs 22,800 crore.

2. The Rajasthan government has given electricity subsidy of Rs 19,873 crore to the common people in the financial year 2021-22. Recently, the state government has increased the electricity subsidy further.

3. The Uttar Pradesh government has given electricity subsidy of Rs 14,516 crore to the common people in the financial year 2021-22. According to a report, the UP government has given a subsidy of more than 23 thousand crore rupees in the last financial year.

4. The Delhi government has given electricity subsidy of Rs 3,220 crore to the common people in the financial year 2021-22. For the current financial year, the state government has named Rs 3250 crore as electricity subsidy.

5. The Punjab state government has given electricity subsidy of Rs 11,888 crore to the common people in the financial year 2021-22. About two months ago, the CM of Punjab had given a statement that in the financial year 2023, Rs 20,200 crore has been spent as subsidy.

6. The Bihar state government has given electricity subsidy of Rs 6,578 crore to the common people in the financial year 2021-22. According to media reports, the subsidy in the financial year 2022-23 was Rs 8,895 crore, which has been increased to Rs 13,114 crore in the financial year 2023-24.

7. The Tamil Nadu government has given electricity subsidy of Rs 8,932 crore to the common people in the financial year 2021-22. According to media reports, in the financial year 2023, it was announced to increase it to Rs 12 thousand crore.

17. The Assam government has given electricity subsidy of Rs 480 crore to the common people in the financial year 2021-22.

18. The Chhattisgarh state government has given electricity subsidy of Rs 4,341 crore to the common people in the financial year 2021-22.

19. The Gujarat state government has given electricity subsidy of Rs 9,165 crore to the common people in the financial year 2021-22.

20. The Haryana state government has given electricity subsidy of Rs 6,740 crore to the common people in the financial year 2021-22.

21. The state government of Jharkhand has given electricity subsidy of Rs 2,072 crore to the common people in the financial year 2021-22.

22. In Ladakh PD, electricity subsidy of Rs 43 crore has been given to the common people in the financial year 2021-22.

23. The Maharashtra government has given electricity subsidy of Rs 10,462 crore to the common people in the financial year 2021-22.
