According to the information, it takes eight days to reach the wreckage of Titanic and it costs Rs 2.02 crore. But now the relief campaign is again facing huge expenditure.

What is a titan submarine?

Titan is a research and survey submersible in which five people can sit. These include a pilot and crew, who may be archaeologists or marine biologists. But apart from these, those tourists can also go in it who can afford a seat.

In addition to site surveys and inspections, Titan carries out research and data collection. It can go to a depth of 13,123 feet for testing in the sea. Through this, ships are deployed to search the sea. It is made of carbon fiber and its length is 22 feet. Weight around 10,432 kg. It uses four electric thrusters to move around. This submarine has 96 hours of bottled oxygen.

British billionaire Hamish Harding, who was aboard the submarine, wrote in a post on social media that this year's journey is going to be difficult due to bad weather.

Operation continues to save the submarine

According to Oceangate, a massive campaign is being conducted to search for the missing people. The Boston Coast Guard is leading the rescue. The US Coast Guard has dispatched two C-130 Hercules aircraft to search for the submersible on the surface of the water.

According to Oceangate, the submarine had reached the wreckage of the Titanic ship. This has come to be known from his last message. Because the Titan submarine was sending its position message every 15 minutes.

Not easy to detect submarine

Rear Admiral John Mauger of the US Coast Guard has said that it is not easy to find Titan. Because it seems to be stuck in a very remote area. Finding it is a challenge. Whatever the rescue team has done so far, they have done on their own.

Where is the missing titan?

Titan was located 700 kilometers south of St. John's, Newfoundland in Canada. The Polar Prince was supposed to take the search vessel Titan to the wreck site. But only after about 1.45 minutes of starting, the contact of the submarine was lost. The missing submarine was last found about 1,450 km off the coast of Cape Cod, Massachusetts, USA.

At the moment it is difficult to say whether Titan is detected or not. Experts are expressing apprehension that the submarine might have been trapped in the debris.
