UK Murder Case: Body temperature and injury marks exposed, parents convicted for killing 9-year-old son in Britain

A woman and her boyfriend have been convicted of a shocking murder of their son in Britain. Both were accused that these people had killed their 9-year-old child by drowning them in the bathtub.

A woman and her boyfriend have been found guilty of killing their 9-year-old son in Britain. Both live in Droitwich, Worcestershire. In February 2021, the dead body of his elder son Alfie Steele was recovered from the house, on which more than 50 injury marks were also found at different places. The court has convicted both of them considering the injury marks and other aspects.

According to the BBC report, Coventry Crown Court found during the hearing that the boy was brutally treated by the family members. This included beatings as well as being forced to stand outside and dousing the head in cold water. It has been claimed in the report that the neighbors had also complained to the police several times about the cruel treatment meted out to Alfie.

Even after the parents were convicted by the court, the exact cause of the boy's death was not revealed, but the evidence points to the fact that Alfie died due to drowning in cold water. Because the body temperature was -23 degree Celsius at the time the police took the dead body into their custody.

Body temperature found -23 degrees

The police became suspicious of the incident when the daughter's mother, Scott, called 999 on February 18 to inform that her son was not breathing properly. When calling, Scott told Handler that Alfie had fallen asleep while enjoying a warm bath, while the injuries and low body temperature – 23C – told a different story.

Dada said - we will never be able to see Alfie's smile again

Speaking on behalf of the family outside court, Alfie's grandfather Paul Scott said after the conviction: "It fills us with sadness that we will never see that smile again." Losing Alfie has left a void in our lives. It's scary to think that we will never be able to hug Ulfi and see him grow up.
