WaBetaInfo, a portal that tracks new features and updates of WhatsApp, has released a report on the new feature. Accordingly, WhatsApp is working on adding Meta Quest as a linked device on Android beta.
It was said in this report that with this, the already running WhatsApp account can be added on the Meta Quest device.
New feature shown in beta update
The new feature of the instant messaging app will allow users to add official accounts on Meta Quest. New features can be released in future updates of the app. This feature has been spotted on the WhatsApp beta 2.23.12.12 update for Android. Currently, this feature is not available on WhatsApp, but some WhatsApp users try to force WhatsApp to connect to Virtual Reality (VR) devices.
