
The work of bringing semiconductor chips in the country is going on at a fast pace. In this episode, Japan has entered into an agreement with India. Soon Japanese chip companies will also come to India to strengthen semiconductor chip production. Actually, the Government of India and Japan have signed MoU for the development of semiconductor ecosystem in the country. Whose information has been given by Union IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnav. He told that Japan and India have signed a deal to strengthen semiconductor manufacturing, research, design, talent development and supply chain.

Rapidus Corp of Japan will play the lead role
Ashwini Vaishnav said that after long talks between India and Japan, a deal has been signed regarding semiconductor development. Both the countries will soon form a team to discuss industry-to-industry and government support. In this work, Japan's Rapidus Corp will play the lead role in the MoU. Let us tell you, Rapidex Corp is a semiconductor manufacturer, which has been formed with the support of 8 big Japanese companies. This includes big companies like Softbank, Sony and Toyota. Where, Rapidus will work to focus on the full value chain, while other companies will focus only on fabrication.
Japan on top in semiconductor industry
Ashwini Vaishnav said that Japan is far ahead in the semiconductor industry. Japan has also taken the lead in silicon wafer and ingot manufacturing. Also in equipment manufacturing, Tokyo Electron is a major company in lenses.
He said that India has been projected as a supplier of raw materials for semiconductors. Dahej Global Corporations in Gujarat can prove to be the hub of raw material supplier.
