The Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Center has come to support "The Tree and the Serpent", an art exhibition at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. This is his fourth exhibition at the MET.

Reliance Foundation Chairperson Nita Ambani has arrived in New York to support an exhibition. There he very bluntly answered the questions asked in an interview. When asked about India's influence in the West and how it has changed over the years, Nita Ambani said that she has seen this influence and change changing before her eyes.

When she came here for the first time at the age of 21 as a bride and today a lot of change has been seen. He is present here today as a very proud Indian. He said that all the people of the world are interested in Indianness and Indian culture. He feels that our Indian youth are leading this change.

4th Exhibition at the MET

According to Reliance Foundation Chairperson Nita Ambani, India is at the right place and time and its rich culture is attracting people from all over the world. His Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Center has come to New York to support an art exhibition "The Tree and the Serpent" at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. He said that this is our fourth exhibition at MET (Museum). We started in 2016 with Nasreen Mohammadi. I am very happy to be here and to be a part of this big protest. The exhibition "The Tree and the Serpent" is a specimen of Buddhist art from the 2nd century BC to 4 AD. That's why I am really excited to be here. India is the origin place of Buddhism.

India at the right place and time

He said that his foundation is also looking to collaborate with various museums around the world and bring art to India. He said that in the last three months after the NMACC opened, we saw a footfall of 5,000 to 6,000 people daily. More than 1.5 lakh people came to us for just two exhibitions. India is now at the right place and time. He said that people from all over the world are interested in Indian culture.

This century is going to be of Indian youth

Referring to the Indians leading the international platform, he said that he feels that their confidence in India is very high. It is wonderful to see this happen. At the state dinner hosted by US President and First Lady Jill Biden for Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the White House last month, Nita Ambani was among the Indians who were part of the guest list. He said that it was wonderful to experience the depth of friendship between the oldest and largest democracies. He further said that I think this century is going to be of the youth of our country. 50% of our population is below 25 years and it is the young girls and boys who are shining and making India proud.
