Will the users wish on Twitter or will Elon Musk's 'whip' continue? Increased challenge for the company

Twitter News: Every decision of Elon Musk affects crores of Twitter users. Recently, steps like tweet post limit and signup have further provoked the users. In such a situation, will Twitter run according to the needs of its users or will Musk's Hunter continue?

Is Twitter Dying: Twitter is one of the largest microblogging platforms in the world. From many influential personalities of the world to common people are associated with this platform. In October 2022, it was bought by famous businessman Elon Musk. They have a lot of influence on the functioning of Twitter. Musk has made a lot of changes to make Twitter a good social media platform. However, his recent decisions have sparked debate again. In such a situation, the question arises whether Twitter should run according to the needs of the users or Musk's wish should be maintained.

Recently Musk has announced two important changes. We will talk about both these changes further, but let us tell you that this is not the first case of free will of Musk. Ever since the billionaire businessman took over the reins of Twitter, he has been taking bold decisions. It is a different matter that some people liked the changes brought by him, while some also expressed their displeasure.

It is necessary to create a Twitter account

Now let's talk about the decisions due to which some users are leaving Twitter and shifting to other apps. Elon Musk decreed that one has to signup on Twitter to see any tweet. This means that now only those people who have a Twitter account will be able to see the tweet. If you want to see a tweet, you have to create an account on Twitter.

Users angry with the limit of viewing tweets

The second big announcement can be seen as limiting the access of users. Musk informed that in a day people will see only limited tweets on Twitter. Verified users can see 10,000 tweets in a day while unverified users will be able to see only 1,000 tweets. If you are a new unverified user then only 500 tweets will be visible in a day.

Elon Musk did not even give the figure of 10,000 posts at once. First he gave information about 6,000 tweet limit, after that it was increased to 8,000. Later this limit was increased to 10,000 tweets. However, Musk has set post limits citing data scraping and system manipulation.

Musk is very upset with the use of Twitter's data without permission by Artificial Intelligence (AI) companies. The step of post limit has been taken to avoid this. On the other hand, Jack Dorsey, co-founder and former CEO of Twitter, who has often opposed Musk, seems to have agreed with the move.

However, it is not all that easy as Twitter users are very angry with these steps. This can be gauged from the fact that some people left Twitter and started joining its competitor app BlueSky. There was so much pressure on Blue Sky to get new users that the company had to stop the signup process.

Trouble will increase if users are scattered

Since becoming the Twitter chief, Elon Musk has made many changes like content moderation, paid verification system - blue tick subscription, four you section, layoffs. This has affected crores of Twitter users. Angered by these decisions, many users have left Twitter. Explain that the main source of Twitter's earnings are advertising companies.

If the sprinkling of users from Twitter continues, then there will be a big crisis for the company. Advertising companies would like to invest money where there is a significant userbase. Right now many companies are starting to advertise on Twitter again. In such a situation, any negative effect is not good for the health of Twitter.
