1000 stairs, amazing water system and lift... such facilities were present in Ravana's palace

There used to be about 1,000 stairs in this palace of Ravana, but there used to be a lift to go to the top. If the media is to be believed, Ravana's dead body has been kept as a mummy at a height of about 8 thousand feet in the forests of Ragela.

It is said that Ravana had kept Mother Sita at this place only for a few days. Later he was shifted to another place.
