Now the government has changed some rules related to holidays, so that government servants will be able to get paid leave for up to 2 years.

The government has changed the rules of 'Child Care Leave' for the employees of All India Services. According to this, now they can take paid leave for their first 2 children during the entire job for 2 years. However, not everyone will get the benefit of this.

Gazette notification has been issued

The Department of Personnel and Training has recently amended the 'Child Care' provision of the All India Services (Leave) Rules-1995. A gazette notification has been issued for this. Government babus of All India Services also get salary according to the 7th Pay Commission, keeping this in mind the rule of holidays has been amended.

These people will get 730 days leave

Under the government's new 'Child Care Leave' policy, government servants will be entitled to a maximum of 730 days of paid leave to take care of their first two children. This leave will be available to any female officer or male officer (single father).

The officers will get this leave after the approval of an authorized officer. He can take a total of 730 days leave to take care of his first 2 children. For this, the age of children should also be less than 18 years. Leave for the care of children will be allowed only for reasons like education or care in illness.

Single fathers include unmarried, widower and divorced men. As long as the officers remain in the probation period, they will not get the benefit of the child leave policy.

Will get 100 percent salary

For the holidays taken under Child Care Leave, the officers will get 100 percent salary for the first 365 days. While 80 percent salary will be given for 365 days in the second year.

Not only this, these holidays can also be taken in several pieces within a year. This can be taken in a maximum of 3 pieces in a year. However, women officers will be allowed to take leave in 6 pieces. At least 5 leaves at a time can be taken under Child Care Leave Policy.

A separate leave account will be created for the employee for the holidays of the child care leave policy. As the officers go on taking leave, the leave will be reduced from their leave account.
