But within a few years this company had come on the verge of bankruptcy. In an interview given in the year 2013, Amitabh Bachchan himself told about this that he had taken a loan of Rs 90 crore from different people.

This was the time when the stars on the big screen used to shy away from working on the small screen. People had also advised Amitabh not to work on TV.
