There was a time in Amitabh Bachchan's life when he was on the verge of bankruptcy. His four films from the line were flopped. His production company ABCL was also stalled. After which he got the support of KBC. This show is popular in every household today.

The first episode of KBC was telecasted on July 3, 2000, which was commanded by Big B and till now he is carrying out this responsibility well. These four films were flops from the line

Amitabh Bachchan started his film career with the film Anand released in the year 1971. This film was a semi-hit. After that, he did many films one after the other, in which there were hits, superhits and blockbusters. But then came the year 1999. Four of his films were released this year (Lal Badshah, Soorvavansham, Hindustan Ki Kasam, and Kohram). Although all the four films were badly beaten.

In the year 1995, he started his production company (ABCL), which got good success in the initial phase, this company produced TV shows like Dekh Bhai Dekh. But within a few years this company had come on the verge of bankruptcy. In an interview given in the year 2013, Amitabh Bachchan himself told about this that he had taken a loan of Rs 90 crore from different people.

When Amitabh Bachchan's career was going through a bad phase, then he took the support of TV. In the year 2000, he stepped on the small scale through KBC and his show became famous. This was the time when the stars on the big screen used to shy away from working on the small screen. People had also advised Amitabh not to work on TV.

He was told that this would harm his image. But Big B worked hard to prove this thinking of the people wrong. In an episode of KBC, Amitabh himself mentioned that when this show started and the way people's response was received, he felt that his world had changed. However, the 15th season of KBC is going to start from 14th August. Big B will once again be seen on the hot seat.
