Arvind Kejriwal defeated Congress from a packed stage in Chhattisgarh, gave '10 guarantees of AAP' to the people

 

Chhattisgarh: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who is now trying to find victory for his party in the poll-bound state of Chhattisgarh after Delhi, Punjab, targeted the Congress while addressing a public meeting on Saturday. And said that the schools in the state are in a very bad condition today.” Kejriwal made several promises aimed at improving the lives of the citizens of Chhattisgarh. He stressed that the Aam Aadmi Party is a party dedicated to the welfare of the common people and is determined to fulfill its guarantees.

Amid the Delhi-based party's attempt to disturb the political equation in Chhattisgarh, Kejriwal announced 10 "guarantees", including Rs 3,000 monthly allowance for the unemployed, monthly "Samman Rashi" assistance for women and free electricity.

Kejriwal said "It has been 76 years since India got independence but I have not seen a single political party saying that it will build schools and hospitals. Instead, they keep seeking votes in the name of religion and caste. Will seek votes for construction and development.

Kejriwal said, "I was reading a report that the condition of schools in Chhattisgarh is very bad. One should see how well government schools are performing in Delhi. We assure that if we come to power in Chhattisgarh , then we will change the whole picture of schools and hospitals." "Our 10 guarantees are not like a fake manifesto or 'sankalp patra'. Kejriwal will fulfill every promise he makes, come what may," he said.

Kejriwal's 10 "Guarantees"

1. Power: Promised 24-hour power supply in Chhattisgarh, asserted that this feat has been successfully achieved in Delhi and Punjab. He said that his government would provide up to 300 units of free electricity every month in Chhattisgarh. He also promised to waive electricity bills pending in Chhattisgarh till November.

2. Education: Vows to end corruption in private schools in Chhattisgarh and ensure quality education by hiring more teachers. He also assured that the contractual teachers would be regularised.

3. Healthcare: Arvind Kejriwal promised to set up Mohalla clinics in Chhattisgarh.

 4. Employment: Kejriwal said that employment opportunities will be created in the state and unemployed persons will be given monthly assistance of Rs.3,000. He assured that government jobs would be given without bribery or nepotism.

5. Women Welfare: Women above 18 years of age will get a monthly stipend of Rs 1,000 in their bank account.

6. Pilgrimage: Arvind Kejriwal pledged to organize free pilgrimages for the elderly in Chhattisgarh, all expenses of which will be borne by the government.

7. Anti-corruption: The AAP leader promised to end corruption in Chhattisgarh and introduce transparent governance.

8. For soldiers: Arvind Kejriwal announced an honorarium of Rs 1 crore for the families of Chhattisgarh soldiers who laid down their lives in the line of duty.

9. Job security: Government employees will get job security in Chhattisgarh.

10. Guarantees for farmers, tribals: Kejriwal assured that AAP will provide guarantees for the welfare of farmers and tribals in Chhattisgarh, more details will be revealed in the upcoming election campaign.

Arvind Kejriwal urged the people of Chhattisgarh to give AAP a chance, saying that their guarantee is genuine and different from the guarantees made by other politicians. He emphasized that by supporting AAP, citizens can expect real change and progress in their state.
