Ashwin shocked the Indian fans, said- 'This team can win the World Cup'

Less than 2 months are left for the start of the World Cup 2023. Some teams have also announced their World Cup squads. Like always before the World Cup, the round of predictions has also started. In this episode, experienced Indian off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin has picked the most favorite team for the upcoming World Cup 2023. Ashwin believes that the Indian team will be the favorite but the Australian team led by Pat Cummins is a powerhouse and can win the title.

The World Cup, starting in India from October 5, will begin with a blockbuster match between England and New Zealand and the final will be played on November 19 at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad's largest cricket stadium. 10 venues in India will host the Mahakumbh of this cricket. Australia is the first team to announce its preliminary squad for the World Cup 2023.

Describing Australia as favorites to win, Ashwin said, “In the ODI World Cup, Australia is one of the favourites. I know cricketers around the world will keep saying that India is favourite, but all the cricketers around the world will use this as a strategy and say before every ICC event that India is favourite. They use this strategy to reduce the pressure on themselves and put extra pressure on us. India might be one of the favourites, but Australia is also a powerhouse and can win the tournament."

There is some truth in Ashwin's words because the Australian team is used to playing in Indian conditions and this team looks different in the World Cup. In such a situation, it will not be easy to stop the team led by Pat Cummins.
