Babar-Rizwan and Shadab shine in Pakistan's victory, their names in the series 3-0

 


Pakistan defeated Afghanistan by 59 runs in the last match of the 3-match ODI series with the help of half-centuries from Babar-Rizwan and a brilliant performance from the bowlers. With this, the Pakistani team made a clean sweep of Afghanistan 3-0. In this match, Pakistan won the toss and decided to bat first. 

Batting first, Pakistan scored 268 runs losing 8 wickets in 50 overs. Pakistan's highest score of 67 (79) came from the bat of wicket-keeper batsman Mohammad Rizwan. In this innings, he hit 6 fours and a six. At the same time, captain Babar Azam, facing 86 balls, played a half-century innings of 60 runs with the help of 4 fours and a six. Gulbadin Naib and Farid Ahmad Malik took maximum 2-2 wickets from Afghanistan side. Fazalhaq Farooqui, Mujeeb ur Rehman and Rashid Khan took one wicket each. 

Chasing the target, the entire Afghanistan team was bundled out for 209 in 48.4 overs. Spinner Mujeeb Ur Rehman scored the most runs for the team. He played a half-century inning of 64 runs in 37 balls with the help of 5 fours and 5 sixes. Apart from him, Shahidullah Kamal faced 65 balls and scored 37 runs with the help of 2 fours. At the same time, Riyaz Hasan contributed 34 runs in 66 balls with the help of 5 fours. Shadab Khan took the maximum 3 wickets from Pakistan. At the same time, 2-2 wickets were taken by Shaheen Afridi, Faheem Ashraf and Mohammad Nawaz. Agha Salman was successful in taking one wicket.
