The number of people doing 9-5 jobs in the world is huge. Many people like to do morning shift, then many people like general shift. However, there are some people who prefer to do night shift or have to do this shift under compulsion. Recently, a research has been done on night shift workers, in which shocking results have come out. It has been said in this research that the risk of memory loss is very high in people who do night shifts, that is, these people can lose their memory quickly.
According to researchers at York University in Canada, apart from memory loss, these people may also have to face the problem of cognitive impairment, in which the ability to think and understand is badly affected. There is a bad effect on brain health and many changes can also be seen in the behavior. A total of 47,811 people's data was collected for this study. This research has been published this week in the open-access journal PLOS ONE.
Risk of memory loss in these people
Researchers said that the results of this study show that there is a deep connection between night shift and cognitive impairment. There is a risk of losing memory in middle-aged and elderly people due to working at night. This is because the rate of cognitive impairment is 79 percent higher among those who work in the office till late night. If you keep awake whole night due to office work or any other reason then you are more likely to suffer from memory related problems.
Overtime workers are also in danger!
On the other hand, people who work more than their working time i.e. overtime, such people are not able to manage their emotions, thoughts and work properly or they have to face a lot of difficulties in doing so. According to the information, one out of 5 people i.e. 21 percent people work according to the shift of 8-9 hours.
