New Delhi: Board Exam 2024 Latest: Big news for the students preparing for board exams. The Ministry of Education said that now board examinations will be conducted twice a year. Not only this, students will have to study two languages in class 11th and 12th. The latest update is that the Center on Wednesday announced major changes in the education system in line with the New Education Policy (NEP) and said that textbooks will be developed for the 2024 academic session. The new curriculum framework was announced by the Ministry of Education. Board exams will be held twice a year under the new curriculum framework of the Ministry of Education. Not only this, students will be allowed to retain the best marks. Under the new curriculum framework of the education ministry, board exams will assess the level of understanding and proficiency of students against months of coaching and rote learning.
Board Exam 2024: Selection of the subject of choice
Under the new curriculum framework of the Ministry of Education, the choice of subjects in class 11th and 12th will not be limited to 'stream'. Rather, students will get the freedom to choose the subject of their choice. As per this new syllabus of the Ministry of Education, school boards will develop the capacity to offer 'on demand' exams in due course.

According to the New Education Policy (NEP), the blueprint of the new curriculum has been prepared. The Ministry of Education said that textbooks will be prepared for the academic session of 2024. Under the new syllabus of the Ministry of Education, students of classes 11th and 12th will have to study two languages, at least one of which should be Indian.

The current practice of 'covering' textbooks in classes will be avoided under the new curriculum framework of the Ministry of Education. The Ministry of Education said that the prices of text books will be brought down.
